SOCIETY
Our Mission
To rediscover the value of America’s wild horse populations and promise a dignified, purposeful life to these horses.
A critical aspect of Redemption is rediscovering and demonstrating the inherent value of these incredible horses. All interaction with the horses will be done with dignity and the recognition that they are autonomous, thinking, feeling beings with communication skills, families, and their own free will. Connection, communication, curiosity, and cooperation will drive relationships rather than punishment and compliance.

Maly Hernandez
Founder & Secretary
Maly Hernandez, Founder and Secretary of Redemption Wild Horse Society is a gifted artist and teacher. Maly's formal education is in graphic design, marketing, and education. Maly holds two masters degrees and currently teaches at a local high school after working in graphic design and marketing in the private sector.
Maly has had a life-long love for horses and other animals, but horses have always occupied her heart. It was Maly's vision and persistence that led to the creation of Redemption. It is the heartfelt nurturing and care Maly provides for these young horses that softens the experience of transition that could otherwise be a far more traumatic experience.
